going sououbound in the northbound lanes and collided head-on with a blue honda pilot towing a boat. the passenger in that luxury sports car was transported in critical condition but the driver not so lucky losing his life. meanwhile the driver and one passenger inside the honda was left with serious injuries. >> we don't know if they got on the wrong w`y or the right way and made a u-turn. the majority of these are alcohol related but we don't have information at this time. >> reporter: troopers believe other drivers call 911 to report the wrongway porsche. but troopers could not get to the sports car in time. >> a lot of times the troopers will have to be in a mile of what's happening. >> reporter: and tonight investigators will be looking into whether drugs or alcohol played any role in the crash. they'll also be looking into whether limited visibility from

do with it. >> reporter: thank you. right now more storms move s this way. the next strong system will be here by tonight and tomorrow morning could get ugly. >> the weather center with what to expeth tonight. >> reporter: -- expect tonight. >> reporter: so yes. we have the threat of another round of severe storms after what happened yesterday. similar situation for later tonight. but this evening so far it's dry across broward and miami dade. live look out of mount sinai cam. check out the cloud cover. lots of sun shooip throughout the day. -- sunshine throughout the day. right now low 70s and i don't think we'll be dropping much. especially with the cloud cover. plus we won't be on the warm side of things especially since we won't be ahead of the cold front. so this evening increasing cloudness expected with a few showers impacting the keys. overnight severe storms

offshore and impacting west side of florida. but you can't rule them out completely. the worst could be for us sunday morning. i'll get to that. i have to show you this shower. band of showers pushing north of the lower keys but riding over the middle keys. it's lightened up so that's good news. looks like miami dade at least the southern part of the county this evening in the next hour or so could get rainfall. but this is the system along that gulf coast and picking up all that moisture and the stability out ahead of it. it's coming our way late tonight and tomorrow. more on that coming up. thank you. new details about a woman behind bars today. accused of crashing into two federal agents on miami beach. then taking off. local 10 news reporter live in west miami-dade with the latest. >> reporter: a 21-year-old coral gables woman was arrested in connection with this hit-and-run crash that left two federal agents in the hospital.

learning -- warrant we are learning there were three other people inside the car with her and right now the victims are recovering in the hospital. rose alice is now locked up. police say the 21-year-old was behind the wheel of a e-250 friday morning when she crashed into two federal agents and left the scene. >> one person was on the car and another person on the side of his body. >> reporter: it happened after 2:00 a.m. friday near espanola way. they were speaking with the cabby when she made a u-turn in her mercedes. polole say she noticed the stopped taxi and swerved towards t t curb to void it hitting the two -- avoid it hitting the two men. >> jumped on the curb and continued after striking both victims. >> reporter: the victims were left hurt. one of the men broke his leg. the other was critically injured.

from his head like -- hisead hit the ground hard. >> he was just laying there like -- they said he had a pulse. >> reporter: hours after the crash the damaged mur sid sadeies fz -- mercedes was found in miami and she was placed under arrest friday night. >> it's terrible. somebody's life can change in a few seconds. >> reporter: the victims were told the two immigrations and customs enforcement agents were on official business in miami beach. now they're recovering at the hospital. one fighting to survive. rose alice is expected in court tomorrow for a bond hearing. dead tonight after an attempted robbery in deerfield beach on southeast 10th street last night. the man was aparent parently trying to hold up a coenient store and a worker opened fire on him. three other people were not hurt. for the second time in a

southwest florida. a storm hit fort myers damaging several homes and downing powerlines. the tornado lasted a few seconds. garth brooks and his wife will finish up a busy south florida three-day concert tour tonight. he found time to give back to the local community. clay caught up with coach brooks. >> reporter: garth brooks is taking on a new role. (music) the man known as one of the top entertainers in the world is known on this day as coach brooks at the pro-camp's youth football camp in fort lauderdale. >> i was impressed. i didn't know you could move like that. >> well, i have three daughters. the girl just smoked them. i was like, yeah. i'm pulling for the girls. it's great to see the kids out here having fun. >> reporter: and coach brooks

not for long. >> no. jennifer joins us with how things will look tonight. >> reporter: enjoy the evening. just take (inaudible) with you just in case. showers will develop if you're staying overnight along with a severe threat increasing overnight as well. and good evening to you. mallory square cam. it's a gloomy one out the. and by the way, temperature right now in key west at 73 degrees. a few showers impacting the keys. we'll get to the radar in a second. check out the temperatures. we topped upper 70s this afternoon as the day time high. temperatures won't dip much tonight because of a cloud cover and the fact there is a front on the way. so out ahead, expect the warm air mass to be over us. and wind speeds are light. anywhere between 3 to up to 9 miles out of the east currently. and here are the showers. that has been draped akrauz the keys. some of these are heavier than others. especially just south of key

developed and this will be tracking towards it north. -- the north. this area lifting over the bay and middle keys and upper keys dealing with light drizzle to moderate raininall. this is just the beginning of what's to come. d this is just light precipitation that we're dealing with compared to what we're expecting late tonight and tomorrow morning. here's the low spinning off the coast of louisiana. it's actually moving really fast from east to west. and the trailing cold front is going to allow for a huge influx of moisture. and warm air mass now. it's quite a ditches because it's overnight. slight severe weather threat is in ste for the overnight hours. tomorrow broward, miami-dade, the keys under the flight risk as well. thi is tomorrow morning when the front arrives. damaging wind gust is definitely a high risk with this. isolated

either. and also some heavy rain. but flooding will be minor. ititill be a quick moving front. here's a look at the in house models. this is not the huge impact we're expecting so far. it's later overnight. check it out. and early tomorrow morning. by around 6:00 a.m. that line expected to be a squall line is pulling away from naples and heading closer to south florida. so around 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. we expect the worst weather. warning in effect 4:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on sunday. winds betwee 25 to 30 miles per hour. so again storms late tonight. low 70s. e hit a high of 78. early tomorrow morning, again once that passes through by 11:00 a.m. we start dropping things down. keep in mind the severe threat is definitely in store overnight and early toom -- earlyy tomorrow morning.
